All written work must be in standard 12 pt, Times New Roman font.  Please note that at the bottom of this guideline you will find The Olivetree Review's publication contract. Submitting work to us through Submittable now counts as acceptance of this contract so please read through if you have any concerns. Please note, we do NOT claim any control over your work/the images of your work, or sole right to it's publishing status in case this question ever comes up in the future.   Publication Contract: [SubmitterFirstName] [SubmitterLastName]   This email is our agreement for your contribution (the Work) to our print and online publication, The Olivetree Review. You, the Artist ([SubmitterFirstName]), retain all rights for your Work. The Artist avows that the Work is an original work and does not impair anyone else's copyright or other right. The Artist agrees to hold The Olivetree Review harmless, and indemnifies us, against any loss or expense arising out of any claim or lawsuit regarding the work, including that of libel, invasion of privacy, or copyright infringement.   The Artist grants The Olivetree Review non-exclusive rights to publish the Work in the print medium for one magazine issue. The Artist also grants The Olivetree Review use of the Work for promotional and internal use in the print medium. The work shall be credited to the Artist in all instances. The Artist grants the Olivetree Review non-exclusive rights to use the Work in the electronic medium for one magazine issue.  Artist also grants The Olivetree Review use of the work for promotional and internal use in the electronic medium. The work shall be credited to the Artist in all instances.   Finally, the Artist grants The Olivetree Review the right to do necessary light edits on the Work for the purpose of publication, provided the substance of the Work is not materially altered. The Artist will be notified of any and all major edits that are either necessary or suggested for printing purposes.
